What’s on Tap?

The name is derived from the coat of arms used by the Cistercian monks of Kirkstall Abbey. Three American hop varieties are used in abundance to deliver a crisp, aromatic pale ale with clean and refreshing citrus-fruit flavours.

An easygoing, cask-exclusive pale ale brewed for laid-back sessions. Motueka hops bring bright lime and citrus, layered with soft pine and stone fruit from Simcoe. A gentle malt base keeps things smooth and balanced, with just a touch of Cara for subtle depth and body. Low in strength, full of character.

A perfectly piney, hoppy & crisp 4.8% Cream Ale brewed as a collaboration between Ossett Brewery and Bundobust.

Bold, hoppy, brewed with bite. Deep within the shadows, the crafty White Rat lurks - pure in name but rebellious by nature. Thriving on bold, hoppy citrus flavours, this maverick is always ahead of the curve. Hoppy, bold, intensely aromatic.

English Hops, Amber / Pale Bitter!!

A super sessionable English pale ale, brewed exclusively for The Flying Horse Hotel & Brewhouse in Rochdale, Lancashire. Brewed using the finest floor malted Maris Otter & Vienna Malts, and wheat to give a flavoursome malt base with a tight crisp head and generous blend of Ernest, Godiva and Jester hops to give notes of apricot, tangerine and subtle grapefruit.

A rich,roasty & robust stout with notes of blackcurrant and liquorice.

Delicate honeyed sweetness, punchy lime and a gentle chilli tingle layered over a crisp, ultra-clean base beer. Light, refreshing and dangerously easy drinking — a proper summer sipper. Brewed in collaboration with The Flying Horse Kitchen, bringing one of their favourite and most popular condiments into a bright, thirst-quenching pint built for sunny days.

We’ve taken the nostalgic taste of cherry cola and given it a Vault City twist. Juicy, refreshing cherry and zingy caramel-cola meets our mixed fermentation base beer, topped off with a big scoop of smooth vanilla ice cream. Sour Scale: 2 Allergens: Malted Barley & Oats (Gluten), Lactose (Milk)

The true original ginger beer. Based on the traditional recipe founded in Yorkshire in the 1700’s, brewed and fermented with a traditional recipe using only fresh ingredients. It doesn’t get more authentic than this. A drink steeped in History.

Hazy, crushable session IPA brewed with extra pale malt, wheat, oats and lashings of only the freshest Mosaic hops. Expect a soft, juicy medley of mango and passionfruit, leading to a tight, grapefruity finish.

This amber-coloured beer is an award-winning brew with a perfectly balanced aroma and flavour that showcases a strong malt and fruit combination. Arizona is an excellent choice for those who appreciate a well-crafted, flavourful beer with a perfect balance of sweetness and dryness.

Festbier is a golden, medium-bodied lager. It offers light malt aromas with hints of bread, biscuit, and subtle floral hops. The flavour is clean and balanced, featuring soft malt sweetness, gentle hop bitterness, and a crisp, dry finish. Festbier’s are lighter than a traditional Märzen but still full of character.

A sleek smooth hop which has averaged over 12% alpha over a number of years, and its aroma qualities match its excellent bittering power, as New Zealand breweries have proved in their award-winning products. Green Bullet has been likened to giving a Styrian style of flavour to the beer, as it gives a pine/lemon crispness and an excellent aroma.

A new iteration of our Tonka Black Forest Gateau collab with Low Key, bringing sweet flavours of chocolate and vanilla, layered with delicately tart cherries. The addition of tonka beans creates an amazing aroma, amplifying vanilla and cherry notes. A 2 on the Vault City sour scale, contains gluten from malted barley and oats plus lactose (milk).

Ventura is a vibrant tropical IPA bursting with bold hop character from Luminosa, Strata & Motueka. Juicy notes of ripe mango, passionfruit and sweet citrus are balanced by a zesty lime twist creating a refreshingly smooth beer with a taste of the tropics.

This is the Lakedown Zoot Suit, our hazy and hoppy full-bodied treat that doesn’t hold back. It’s a New England IPA, crammed full of the finest Citra, Mosaic and Centennial hops. We’ve created this beer to showcase its wonderfully tropical aroma and punchy, fruity flavour.
